The languid curves and stylized floral motif of this pin are classic Art Nouveau. Made by Bippart & Co. of Newark, NJ, this brooch displays many of the hallmarks of fine artistry and craftsmanship that made Bippart a renowned jewelry manufacturer around the turn of the last century.

Fashioned of a buttery yellow gold and textured to add a dramatic effect, the stylized iris motif is accented by whimsically placed seed pearls.

This pin contains the torch hallmark for Bippart & Co. and is marked 14k. The reverse is marked with the year "1919" and the initials "F.H.F." It is also stamped "T.B. Stark."

This piece measures 0.86 inches long by 0.7 inches tall. It weighs 4.6 grams and is in great condition.
